My dad taught me how to swim, how to ride a bike and how to swing a bat.
He taught me how to change a tire, how to paddle a canoe and how to drive both a car and a tractor.
He taught me how to make macaroni & cheese from a box, how to peel an apple and how to butter toast.
He taught me how to weed the flowerbeds, how to use a hammer and how to lay wallpaper.
He taught me to stop to enjoy the view every now and then.
He taught me that if you can make something better, you should. Sometimes you should make things better just because you can.
I’m so thankful to be your girl, Daddy. I love you.
